Candidates bearing following Registration Numbers are provisionally SELECTED for admission to One-year Diploma Course in Bengali Language (DCBL) of 2024-2025 academic session on the basis of their performance in the Written Test and Personal Interview.

The selected candidates are to appear personally before the Admission Committee at BANGA BHAWAN, SILCHAR on the scheduled date and time for the Stage III of admission process i.e., “Document Verification and Admission” along with the following items :-

(A) completely filled in Admission Form;
(B) 3 copies of passport size recent colour photographs;
(C) self-attested photocopies Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate of HSLC or its equivalent examination;
(D) original copies of Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate of HSLC or its equivalent examination and
(E) requisite amount of fees (Rs. 6,100/-) to be paid either
(i) through any UPI* (BHIM / Google Pay / PhonePe etc.) OR
(ii) by crossed cheque drawn in favour of :
Distance Education Centre,
BUBSOSS,
A/c No. 00800110056042,
UCO BANK, SILCHAR.

Candidates are advised not to pay the fee in CASH.

Important Notes:
(Read the notes carefully and act accordingly)

  • Blank admission form is available at https://barakbanga.in/dcbl-forms.html;
  • One copy of the photograph to be pasted on the Form at the specified space and two other copies (placed inside an envelope) to be enclosed with the Form; candidate must write his/her name on the back side (white space) of the photograph;
  • Candidates must bring their Admit Cards issued for WRITTEN TEST 2024 along with the Original Copy of any 1 (one) of their Photo ID Card.
  • “Document Verification and Admission” will continue till 3 pm on each day.
  • The date & time of “Document Verification and Admission” allotted to each candidate cannot be changed.
  • Only those candidates who are unable to attend the Stage III (“Document Verification and Admission”) on the allotted date due to medical reason or exigencies, may be considered for change of date, provided they can furnish medical reports or proof of exigency of their inability to attend on the allotted date. To initiate this process, candidates should submit applications on plain paper along with the required medical report or proof of exigency to the Office of the Distance Education Center, Banga Bhawan, Silchar, during any working day between 11 am and 3 pm, but this should be done before the scheduled date of the “Document Verification and Admission”.
  • Selected candidates who are unable to appear personally before the Admission Committee for “Document Verification and Admission” may authorize a person to appear before the Admission Committee along with Authority Letter and all items as mentioned above.
